If you missed last week's induction banquet for the Class of 2010 into the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame, you missed what many people are saying was the best induction banquet ever. But not to fear, we've got a look at it for you this week over at Georgia Racing History.com .

On Oct. 22, the ninth annual Georgia Racing Hall of Fame induction banquet and ceremony was held at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame in Dawsonville, Georgia. Among those inducted were motorcycle racer Ted Edwards, NASCAR Winston Cup champion crew chief and engine builder Ernie Elliott, open wheel and stock car pioneer Jack Etheridge, NASCAR sportsman championship winning car owner Laverne Kendrick and pioneer stock car racer and track official Jerry Wimbish.

The induction ceremony not only featured the adding of the newest class, but also included video presentations that were put together with a collaborative effort with the Mass Communications department of Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia, along with the introduction of a new annual award, the Annie Dean Samples Spirit Award, to be given out by the Hall of Fame board. The inaugural award went to a very surprised and very deserving Vaudell Sosebee.

So, if you missed it, you definitely missed out, but you can get a taste of what went on over at Georgia Racing History.com .

Special thanks for GARHOFA's Mike Terrell and Motorsport America's Marci Watson for their help with photos.

Happy Birthday wishes go out this week on Nov. 1 to Jayski and on Nov. 3 to Spirit Award winner Vaudell Sosebee ("Mean as ever!")

Thanks everybody, and I hope you have a great Halloween!
