Dargan, I think this car is still in Asheville NC , last I heard was that John Bell was going to restore it. It set in Roy's dads yard for years after he stopped racing . Mike Beam wanted to buy it a while back from Roy but I don't think John would give it up.

I watched that car go from a pile of junk behind Roy's shop on Druid drive to getting in the shop and watching it be built from the frame up. to winning on the river and the last race on the river when they said Roy was goin to go live in the Virgin islands.
