"Music City Cowboy" award presented to me at Nashville Speedway by management of Wrangler Boots division prior to start of May 1982 Nashville Cup race. It was Dale Earnhardt's first start for Bud Moore at Nashville in the
#15 Wrangler Ford. Earnhardt had won at Nashville in 1980 in Rod Osterlund's Chevy and would win the 1983 Busch 420 at Nashville in Moore's Thunderbird.
