66 Shelby Semi Retired

I had my fun beating this poor car to death from 1983 until around 2002 (about 200 1/4 mile passes, dozens of autocrosses, a number of Shelby club open track events and a lot of fun on the street). We semi restored the car in 1999 (paint by my buddy Tony Groff of VA Beach, VA). Long work hours combined with a bout with cancer forced me to be a little easier on the old Shelby. It is shown here with my display wheels- a set of American magnesium R-Model wheels with old Goodyear Blue Streak Sports Car Specials. I consider myself fortunate to still be around to enjoy driving this thing.
