Rumors about A Legend-ary Member

General

There is a new rumor rumbling through Washington, D.C. this week. Rumor has it that a super-PAC led by Brian Z. France has switched allegiances from campaigns for Trump, Sanders, and Clinton to the new ARD (American Racing Drivers) party. Other contributors include Kyle Busch and Joe Gibbs.

The primaries just finished, as it was a heated battle between Tim Leeming and Patrick Reynolds for the spot. But in the end, Tim Leeming, THE Legend, won the party's nomination for the presidency with the campaign message "LEGENDary Reform!"!

There were originally rumors that Danica Patrick would be the Legend's running mate, but records show that she will not be 35 years of age until 2017, so instead Matt Kenseth was chosen to be the Vice-Presidential nominee.

Racing History Minute - May 19, 1963

Stock Car Racing History

FYI, NASCAR could be quite vicious about drivers competing in USAC events. Many a driver got quite the hefty fine for running USAC or ARCA races in the 1950s and 1960s... but NASCAR was smart enough to keep it behind closed doors.

Does NASCAR have a next generation of fans?

Current NASCAR

It's an interesting question. I myself am one of 3 or 4 people I know anywhere within 10 years of my age who is into racing. Most every guy my age is into something: football, soccer, baseball, hockey, basketball, and combinations thereof. And one of the ones into racing is only into it as an excuse to go party and get bombed.

another great one gone

Stock Car Racing History

Bill was the man who showed me that some of the race car drivers really are the "fearless heroes on the track, ordinary people off the track." He really was a hero through and through. I one time pulled up a chair with Bill, and by the time we were done we realized the event was over and that just a handful of people were left.

RIP Bill

TONY STEWART

Current NASCAR

This is an interesting topic, to say the least.

But yes, Ryan McGee's article went over the line, and then to see one of my friends' insulting comment that made McGee look like Mother Teresa in all that...

Aero was a topic at Daytona from the start

Stock Car Racing History

Odd that the article neglects to mention that George Amick was killed in that race.
