I was sorry to lean Buster Jackson passed away. Buster and his Soul Shaker 63 chevy will be missed. That car and Buster was a tought combo to beat. Ran him lots in the early years at Island Dragway. Ran in to Buster at Island 2 years ago he looked good was running nostalgia drag race. we bsed and hung out most of the day. Buster you will be missed. Just goes to show you time don't stand stll for any of us. been losing a lot of old friends from the car world in last 2 years. Rest in peace Buster Billy TheKidd Bender

getting life back on track

have not been on line in awhile my wife of 43 years lost her 6th and final battle with cancer on 10-13-13 trying to get going again. anyway going to start working on my falcon gasser and trying to make a deal on old 63 chevy jr stocker to run nexted year. was running a friends 65 hemi Plymouth him and wife spilt car gone. I wanted a POCONO DRAG LODGE REUNION SO BAD but never got to any yet because of her being sick so much over last 4 years her come 1st!!!! well will make nexted on and will see you all there and at the drags. sad to here about 240 gordie. my prayers are with his family. has we get older we lose many old friends from the days when dragracing was way more fun for us weekend warriors with outh the big bucks. rest in peace GORDIE.
