My New Car

General

Only one catch or maybe two. Hope your cash flow is good when the warranty runs out and who could you trust to work on this machine. But there again BB can fix anything with his red wrench. On third thought it would make a good looking LMS. LOL....

I WISH............................

General

Thank goodness I missed the televised version how ever I did listen on the radio for the first 40 laps or so then was entertained for the next few hours at the vineyard by some harley riders. Very entertaining and educational even they don't like D.W.

Racing at The Rock

General

I wish I could go, but I promised the Christian school that my boys attended and graduated from that I would cook their graduation meal. I had much rather be at the ROCK than standing over the grill all afternoon. Have a great time guys and girls....

I can remember racing against one of these at Bowman Gray in the early 50s

Big Bill drove a Willys a few of those races, not sure about whether it was at the BG or not. It seems he ran one at the old High Point Speedway in 41 though .

They hope that I hit the big lottery because then they would have a partner at Wilkesboro.

Kyle Busch's smartest move yet as quoted by racewin

Current NASCAR

Humpy had the best idea a lot of years ago. He said if the drivers wanted to settle a dispute that he would furnish the boxing ring and an audience on the front straight away in front of the fans. However I don't think that the drivers were willing to particiapate. As I doubt many of these boys today would take the chance to get whipped in front of their fans. Back in the day the real drivers could have cared less.

The biggest thrill I've had in some time!

General

Jim this is Bill Blair Jr. And he has built the car as close as possible to replicate his dads car. Bill Jr. is now retirement age and going through his second childhood. He is a chip off of the old block a pretty good driver. His pop would be very proud. If you are ever in the area I am sure he would let you listen to the history of the early 50's and 60's from his point of view. He lived it with his dad and others, such as Jim Paschal, Pap White, Ken Rush, and many others.

"WILL THE REAL JEFF GILDER PLEASE STAND UP"!!!

General

You are not alone in the way you feel Billy and Barbara. Most all the members of this site feel much as you do and then some. In my humble opinion I ditto all that was writen here and elsewhere about the work that Jeff , Dustin all the other members of RR do for the good of this site...
