1964-1969 PURE FIREBIRD RACING GASOLINE DECAL, ARCA DECAL

Charlotte Motor Speedway welcomed the ARCA series in 1965, with Bowsher winning the pole for the inaugural race. Curtis Turner, who entered the race in Bowsher's second car, went on to win the event. This was Turner's only victory in either NASCAR or ARCA at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the track he co-founded with Bruton Smith in 1960. Bowsher continued to dominate the 1965 season, winning 25 of 37 events, earning his third straight championship. Benny Parsons, a young taxi driver and mechanic from Detroit, earned Rookie of the Year honors.

Looking for a CD title: MEET JOE KELLY, A MODERN DAY STORYTELLER
by JOE KELLY of "Let's Talk Racing With Joe & Ruth Kelly" radio show.
It was advertised and sold on 5/2/2001 Wed. night 10 PM, MOTOR RACING DIGEST, CHANNEL 7, RICH-TV, RICHMOND, VIRGINIA.
Does anyone has a copy or know where I can get a copy of it.

Hardly nothing about Old Time Racing in Va. area?

Copies of old auto race photos cost around $50 - $100 a shot??

Been trying to get someone + RICHMOND TIMES DISPATCH NEWSPAPER to published hardcover/softcover book on Virginia Auto Racing History in RICHMOND + VIRGINIA.

There is ton of old auto racing photos in the (old) RICHMOND TIMES DISPATCH NEWSPAPER and (old) RICHMOND NEWS LEADER NEWSPAPER ARCHIVES.

The Main Libraries in Virginia has old scratch up micro-film copies of the (old) RICHMOND TIMES DISPATCH NEWSPAPER and (old) RICHMOND NEWS LEADER NEWSPAPER.
They need to get new clearer micro-film copies of the (old) RICHMOND TIMES DISPATCH NEWSPAPER and (old) RICHMOND NEWS LEADER NEWSPAPER.

Or make it available through the INTERNET!!

Wonder where did #90 TRUXMORE FORD RACING TEAM get their supply of "7-11 Slurpee" cups, that was used in 1976 during the race pit stops.

1976 Dick Brooks pit stop, is handed by long metal pole a "7-11 Shurpee" cup of cold beverage or water during the race.

Slurpees cups should have an warning labels on it:
"CAUTION, SUCKING SLURPEES BY STRAW WILL CAUSE FREEZED BRAIN AND HEADACHES"!!

I remember an 7-11 store on every corner.

Since 1990 at least (5) 7-11 stores located route 360/Hull St. Rd. was closed up and converted to laundry mat stores or fish mart stores.
