GOT A QUESTION TO ASK --MAYBE SOMEONE REMEMBERS THIS

Stock Car Racing History

But Cody ,Look at the fun we had deciphering this little bit of trivia . This all started when Wild Bill took the photo of the illustrious PKL standing in a pose of sorts at the front. Just j having fun with old news with a twist. But who in Melbourne would know of the famous pool hall if this wasnt brought up on occasion.

GOT A QUESTION TO ASK --MAYBE SOMEONE REMEMBERS THIS

Stock Car Racing History

You are right TMC. I thought it fit into the flow of things being as the Pool Hall was the sponsor wayyyyyy down in Aussie country. I saw the clip and it hit me that David ran that race with the Pool hall name on the car. Not many remember that from back in the day--thats whats fun about Racers Reunion..

GOT A QUESTION TO ASK --MAYBE SOMEONE REMEMBERS THIS

Stock Car Racing History

Back in 1988 a bunch of good ole boys went off on a caper racing out of the country. Now Dave Fulton this was in your heyday but I dont remember you being there.

Story has it that Hersel McGriff, Kyle Petty,Dave Marcus, Neil Bonnett,David Solsbee and Bobby Allison among others ventured down the street to Melborn Australia to race in the Nascar Winston Cup race. It was supposed to be a 500 mile race and it was run on a 1 1/4 mile high bank speedway.

the question im asking is ,does anyone remember who sponsored the car David Solsbee drove down under? It was # 81,some say it was a Ford others say a Chevy. Goodyear sweetened the pot by 10,000.00 . Anyone know the answer?? You may just pleasantly surprised.

Darrel Walthrope was there too but couldnt stay out of the pits.

As I know Kyle he is in his element there (I know you heard the background noise too) but as he said ----in his dreams. Maybe he needs to call her, right? 1-480-388-0988. Hope she dont get to mad at me giving her number -only- to Kyle...

PKL Is Not A Graceful Loser

General

You m'Lady are a piece of work whether you are hanging out at the pool hall trying hard not to look like a hustler or keeping the fire hot at the goat rodeo. I knew you were something special when you first busted through the doors at the local Tuesday nite show. Besides you kinda knowing what racing really spells you could talk the talk and walk the walk. I love debating you on occasion over our history.
