Well he did it in style, his 100th win. Any way you look at it he does it with style. In last weeks truck race when he climbed on top after winning and he got booed, he cup his ear as to let the crowd know I CANT HEAR YOU Yup he is a showman along with a driver. He will go and win in trucks with a different crew chief then go jump in another car with a different crewchief again and win and then go do it again in a late model. I guess the only thing thats mandatory is a steering wheel for him to swing on. Seriously he can block out the bad so it doesnt bother him. He may just survive this year to be a contender in the last few races this year in the chase. Or maybe you have a different choice or two.

why not gve them something really interesting --how about making them members of Racers Reunion--then they can really enjoy the past along with the rest of us and as a side note keep up with the comings and goings of modern day NASCAR

Stock Car Racing History

After looking at the latest photos that have been posted I have a really dedicated question to ask of someone here.

Now Im not trying to start anything --B U T-- why dont you see any photos of todays current drivers and their family that presents itself like those of Roy and Veronica! Look at them, they show more than just the two of them, the background is full of great info of what was going on that day. And there is no "do I have to do this look" on their faces either.

THese photos were took back when we really had a hell of a good sport. Today its all for the money. Roy sure as heck didnt get any monetary gain out of his P/R work for his fledgling team. Todays team has to be spit and polished before any exposure can be allotted them.

Bet you couldnt get any of todays teams to even relate to a photo like that of Roy and Wendall standing out by all that treasure.

Now here is Veronica, look at her back then,If you have read the story about Roy you will understand. Better yet if you knew him all the better.

WHY ARE THOSE PHOTOS SO FULL OF LIFE AND RACING HISTORY?? Come on critics crank it up .---------------------------------------------------Memories

When Criticism Crosses the Line

I listened to last nites show and was totally speechless listening to you. I tried three or four times to put something into words to express myself but couldnt get it going for fear of being called a (for the lack of the proper word to use here) party pooper, sorta like those cigars.

That is one of the reasons I backed off on here for a bit and the trend of the discussions or lack of to me seemed to be taking a stand towards our sport I was not happy with. Now it has come to be the center of discussion. I love MY sport and the people who were part of it in the beginning and also the present day people who are our major players. Whether it be David Pearson,Tim Richmond,Richard Petty or todays players like Darrell or Brian. True some may have did a bunch to not much at all to help us protect and enjoy the priceless memories of racing.

Its not just about Nascar but all those Sat.nite special tracks that had so much good racing who were called outlaw tracks. I ran more outlaw I guess than Sanctioned races because ------ I ENJOYED IT MORE.

I have my fondest memories of racing with the unknown names of sat nite along with the known names of Nascar--on Sun afternoon or even thurs nite at the greatest dirt track I knew at that time.

Dont talk trash about what we care for please-- We are for the preservation of what we had and what we want to keep around.

All in all if you like those cigars great but if you dont well then dont try to make others try them..

I LOVE OUR SPORT--and will continue to honor all those past and most of those present, not all but if you do thats well and good just dont try to sell it -------------------------------------memories

"WILD THING"----I THINK YOU BEAT ME

Stock Car Racing History

AS you watched the long line of cars still on interstate trying to get to the track the green flag fell beginning the first of how many races to be held at KMS.

As you probably know those two brothers were out for their name to be first on the trophy wall there in Sprint Cup Racing. Kyle let big brother see the sunset then snatched the limelight from him.

All in all it was a good race because behind Kyle there was plenty of two and three wide racing on a "b u m p y" track. Bet some of you didnt even notice the different racing grooves did you. Is the limelight gone from the past champion?? Is the Hendrick boys on summer break?? Sure seems as though a lot of new players were up at the front looking around and testing the waters,-----------or was it something else--huh??? You tell us please!!!
