After this past weekend racing it looks like everyone is waiting to hear the scuutlebutt that comes out of the big red trailer.The " story " will take place tomorrow as Clint Bowyer goes through the appeal process for his penalty after winning the New Hampshire Sprint Cup Series race two weeks ago.I have very mixed feelings about it.Was he bumped on the track? Or after the race? You saw the wrecker when he turned into the garage area,the wrecker was on that left rear corner .Hit too hard?what do you thinkNASCAR penalty essentially ends Bowyer's title hopes.Bowyer got busted, but pushing limits on NASCAR rules is an every day thing to the crews and crewchiefsTheres one part of me that feels like Richard Childress Racing might have a little bit of a case, especially once you look at the postrace footage of the wrecker and other competitors hitting Bowyers car. We definitely know the rear bumper was broken loose, the quarterpanel was buckled and braces were broken loose. RCR may have a case.But on the other hand, the case NASCAR has is that the No. 33 car had been warned once (and maybe more than once) about some of these body mounts.I find it hard to believe the appeal committee is going to rule 100 percent for RCR and that they will take off the penalties, fines and suspensions, but they may actually reduce them.Im as anxious to see what happens tomorrow as for any other appeal weve had in the past.

The move I think is back to the real deal,at least to the short tracks and the excitement under the lights. Heck did you know you can tell the cars apart out there?? Not so easy with these Spring loaded plastic cars but they are different in each owners choice of panels and nose or tail structure.How about the stockers thats booming at many short tracks and the attention that the old vintage cars are getting when people see them.America is hungry for something to do to get out and relax and have fun, maybe racing is it. Not everyone can afford a ticket to a major league ball game but a ticket to a major Saturday nite special is still affordable to most families and its still kid friendly. Most drivers are accessable before and after a race, try getting to a major league player of a nascar driver----never happen unless you are kin to someone.Jeff is right because our car stays up on a lift unless im working on it and many people are coming in now saying I found you on Racers Reunion or say they saw the car there. Now Im kinda getting into a spot now because they want to see the car run--I tell them starting in March of 2011 it will make its heyday at Middle Ga Raceway then i guess i will work out a schedule to go to some of the local tracks and promote our our great organization we call RACERS REUNION wouldnt that be great !!!!!

Its a new swim suit series coming out in February. Its supposed to debut at Daytona in 2011 Speedweeks also to be reported as fire proof also so thats a plus huh.Any way you look at it there will be people saying its a advertisement but for what ?? You go Daddy

If you call $21,000.00 good pay a day then Danica did pretty well today in the Nationwide race. She was a few laps down but she was running at the end so you guys who like following her in the races and in the other suit she wears got what you wanted.After this year of adjusting her seat and mirrors for next years run the only thing left to do is uh---------win?? would that work guys?? how about you gals any feedback from youall???

KYLE BUSCH MAKES NASCAR HISTORY

You two are so right---when Kyle Bushes record gets honored here on Racers reunion he will have earned it----Sam earned his the hard way,the same way Jeff gilder won his or Billy Bisco.. You see these people did it with a flair no one today can touch--NO ONE!!! So Tell Sam his record is safe here on Racers Reunion because we know a true hero when we find one and Sam is the Man. We didnt fuss over something trivial as the thickness of a quarter as the latest test of the new Brian Factor. Nuff said

KYLE BUSCH MAKES NASCAR HISTORY

No he didnt surpass Sams record persay. True he may have won more races but you see Sam did it with half the EQ that Kyle has.I was tooling around the tracks with Sam back in the day and when we bent we fixed it, try working all nite then driving like all get out to get to the next race then crawl in and run a couple hundred laps on dirt with no power steering and no cool suit. Then climb out pack up and head to the next one, all the while maintaining the car in motel parking lots or a friends shop or service station.Thats what makes a true winner like Sam,not crawl into your motorhome and get showered and relax while a crew does everything including cleaning your drivers gloves, I was going to say something else there but chickened out,but you get the message.Sam is still the hero here so dont let him forget it for one minute you hear!!!!
