Was you there? Did you watch? If you were worried about seats available well you missed your chance to pick your seat it seems. If you didnt watch it well you missed an interesting race. If you were watching something else, well what can I say.Brad trying to play catchup in the end while Kyle was making it interesting for the viewers. At the rate he is going he just might make it to the 30th place in points.

At the same race it seems that JimmIE Johnson isnt to worried about his contract (thats the word on the track at least) because his heart wasnt in it today..As you see by his finish .

I scratched my anchor' on the nose of Jeff Gordon's car

Stock Car Racing History

Another note to this is Gordons crew wasnt watching for traffic as he was backing Gordon out. This garage area is noted to be tight quarters.

That was the punch line that Clint Boyer used to day after he clipped Jeff Gordons car. Gordon was backing out of his stall as Clint wasattemptingto pull into his. Seems as Gordon got the damage while Boyer got the scratches.Crew members for Jeff Gordon, driver of the <a href=#24 AARP Member Advantages Chevrolet, work on their car after an incident in the garage area with Clint Bowyer, driver of the #15 5-Hour Energy Toyota, during practice for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series 5-Hour Energy 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on July 18, 2015, in Loudon, N.H.">

IS THIS THE SAME AS WHAT WE GREW UP WITH?

Stock Car Racing History

Why are DJs, go karts, and foam parties turning up at NASCAR races? The added side attractions are all about trying to turn the children of prototypical NASCAR Dads into NASCAR Kids. For instance, ticketholders for car races this summer at the Michigan International Speedway are simultaneously granted admission to Keloorah, a two-day festival that sounds a lot like a rave, with live concerts, deejays, video games, tailgate games, foam parties and paint parties.

There are also dedicated spaces for hanging out with your friends even into the wee hours of 3 a.m., the Detroit Free Press reported. The overarching idea is that while millennials might not turn up for a plain old car racing event, theyll be intrigued with a three-day festival that includes electronic dance music and late-night partying.

Driver of infamous Daytona 500 jet dryer passes away unexpectedly

Remember this driver? Yup the one that put a block on Montoya at Daytona only he didnt actually do it. Well thisgentleman is now going to forever be cleaning the great track in the sky

DAYTONA BEACH, FL - FEBRUARY 27: Safety workers try to extinguish a fire from a jet dryer after being hit by Juan Pablo Montoya, driver of the <a href=#42 Target Chevrolet, under caution during the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway on February 27, 2012 in Daytona Beach, Florida. A frightening incident marred the 2012 Daytona 500 when a car struck a jet dryer carrying 200 gallons of jet fuel.

The driver of the jet dryer infamously struck by Juan Pablo Montoya in the 2012 Daytona 500 has died.

Duane Barnes, a 27-year employee of Michigan International Speedway where he was the chief jet dryer operator, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday at his home, according to the Detroit Free Press .

Barnes, who also worked as a fabricator and heavy equipment operator at MIS, was 55.

Barnes was on loan to Daytona International Speedway -- a sister International Speedway Corp. track to MIS -- when he was involved in the frightening incident where a truck arm broke in Montoya's car as he drove around the track under caution, causing him to crash into Barnes' safety vehicle which was stocked with 200 gallons of jet fuel.

The contact caused the jet dryer to erupt into a massive ball of fire, and set a large portion of the racetrack on fire, forcing officials to red flag NASCAR's biggest race for some two hours.

Montoya now competes in the Verizon IndyCar Series, where he won the 2015 Indianapolis 500.

We at FOXSports.com and the NASCAR Shake and Bake Blog express our condolences to Barnes' family and colleagues.

WHO WON AT KENTUCKY

Current NASCAR

Well to keep that Toyota from being a threat for next weekend you better figure how to keep Kyle out of it. But then if he gets into another car -- well here we go again !!

WHO WON AT KENTUCKY

Current NASCAR

Ok we know Kyle won it but his journey to make the chase,is he on the right track? Can he come back as quick as he needs? He has the wins now can he get in below the 31 place in points? And is it possible for him to win the championship?

Some of you or maybe all of you can answer this one..Displaying WP_20150712_002.jpg
