DALE JR to go or not to go,that is the question

Current NASCAR

Its time for Dale Earnhardt Jr to go somewhere anywhere besides Hendrick Motorsports. With one win in 95 races Hendrick Motorsports has not delivered for Dale Earnhardt Jr.When Earnhardt signed on with Rick Hendrick he wanted a 3 year contract. It was Rick Hendrick who convinced Junior to sign up on a 5 year plan. Now we know why.In a normal NASCAR contract Dale Jrs contract would be almost up. He would be free to go in a few weeks. Instead Dale Jr has 2 years remaining.Rick Hendrick needs to do the right thing and release Junior now. At least give Dale Jr the option to stay or go.I say go. What do you say?

Those Lovely Mamby Pamby Sprint Cup Drivers

Current NASCAR

Maybe we should start buying small packs of kleenex tissue and kinda like toss it to them when a situation arrives and they get out with a whimper look on their face, kinda like the commercial goes when the ex drill sgt. gently throws the tissue to the guy on the couch---ha ha ha

Those Lovely Mamby Pamby Sprint Cup Drivers

Current NASCAR

I purpose a move that everyone going to the next Nextell race go by your local cut rate store(so you wont spend to much)and buy a small box of tissue for the drivers to take with them in the car--that way they can wipe or blow then throw it at the driver that races them to hard and creates undo stress on their tissue. Are there any candidates on your list of Mamby Pamby drivers ??

learning to drive--the hard way

Trivia

I remember back at home one nite in the 60's I got spun out and found the wall with the right front. this put me going home to rebuild the right front.A guy walked over and said " shore would like you to drive my car tonite,my driver didnt show up". Wow a ride so I dont have to watch the race through the fence.Well let me tell you something, that dang car drove like a tank and when you got in a turn the steering would almost freeze up.I managed a fourth place in the consi so i got to race in the feature. Now that old ford coupe would fly---if you had the guts to hold it. I found out if you stayed high with it and used the gas you could actually manage to pass a few cars. The guy who owned it said no one had driven the car like that before. I told him right quick it was not a fun car to drive with the steering binding up every turn.Come to find out it had hit the wall a few weeks ago and bent the right side back. dad had him take it to the shop to fix the front end and next race in jones county was a breeze, it turned better but now im getting to the point of this discussion.Even as easy as it turned and drove it took both hands to drive the car and over a 100 lap race you were sorta feeling the strain it put on you. But the heat was like a sauna in the car,the exhausts were open just under your feet and when in a turn dirt was peppering you from the right widow but you know that was fun because when you climbed or lets say crawled out you were the color of the track and wet as soak .Now I would love to see todays drivers crawl into one of the cars that we drove back then . Heck my Chevelle that I drove on the big tracks didnt have power steering. I will admit it fought back pretty good at Darlington and Atlanta and you were give out after the race. Get Tommie Clinard or Bob Moore or Billy Biscoe to tell you how easy their cars drove back in the day. Power Steering wasnt even thought of much less a cool suit or a fan even. Now you tell me how it was when you drove or even how it was in the family car when you were in a big town twisting and turning---O for those days again.I want your opinion--any takers???????

Jr SUCKS!

General

The desire is not there now. I dont think he has the say so he wants in his ride and I truly think he misses his own team as he had with DEI . He had family and friends around him close friends, the kind that handled problems. Now Kelley is not running his show and tony jr and senior are not there steering things -----those are things that make or break a driver---- team ---- or organization

I guess size doesnt mean much to Joey when he gets out of the car after a race

Current NASCAR

I didn't get to see the entire race today, but I saw the part between Ryan and Joey. Joey turned down on Ryan. clear as day from the front view. Im not saying it was on purpose, but he did it .. And when they were talking afterward, Joey kept touching Ryan and Ryan told him not to touch him. He was TICKED off and had a right to be. And sorry, but Ryan had just as much chance of improving his chase chance as the 2 drivers in front of him.. Just remember It aint over til its over!!!
I guess Ryan is opening up a school now teaching how to drive ha ha ha

Could the torch be Passing to another in Sprint Cup?

Current NASCAR

Well jerry did strike one something there---the way jerry came up you had to be a real man to hustle a car around a track for a couple of hundred laps on a half mile or longer track----THATS DIRT--- now these cars today have power steering and air conditioned suits and a car that will almost drive itself the way they so precisely set them up.. Jerry had to man handle a car that wanted to either spin out or hit the fence on the straightaway and the floorboard was usually hotter than grandmas wood stove. You know you drove in these conditions after towing for four or five hours to get to the track. Now wonder how I knew about those things, Well you see I was running with Jerry back then and I know what kind of a customer he was then---and now,------ wonder if his coupe has power steering now Jerry Williams said:
The Chase was created by NASCAR as just another venue to stuff their over flowing pockets. NASCAR long ago began making it more about the money and less about the sport of racing. When in the last 30 or so years has a new track been designed for good racing and not arround how many seats they could fit in? NASCAR is sucking the life out of the SPORT of true racing and true racers, the heros are gone and under NASCARs current leadership they will never be allowed to exisit again. I find it impossible to make a hero out of an 18 year old 130 pound kid who is there ( allthough he can drive a race car ) just because of his last name or his daddys money. Just my 2cents worth. May GOD Bless
