Bobby Allison Signs with SOC Exchange

Administrative

wow that would be a dream for someone . Spend a race weekend hanging with Bobby and friends, He is really cool guy who can come down to your le4vel and talk, not turn his nose up to you in public like so many. I know because In the 60's especially he was just BOBBY,nothing else, being famous was not a word we knew back then. But hanging with him for the weekend would be a true gift. What would you do if you win the chance?????

Best Race Car In The Early Years?

Stock Car Racing History

How about a late 30's chevy coupe on a chevy truck frame using either a 3/4 ton rear or a split rear with a homemade quickchange rear. the motor a 301 GMC six out of a ton and half truck bored 60 over using aftermarket pistons for a straight 8 Buick ,the head reworked ported and relieved and polished with helper springs to go along with the Isky Cam shaft .oh yeah you have to build your own intake using either 3 intakes to use 3 monster one barrel carbs or one of those high dollar setups out of Honest Charley Catalog with a purpose built and tuned split manifold ,radiator is out of a late 30's Packard with the V16 in it Front end is already there with the truck suspension front and rear ,,. driver would either be my dad who won his share of races in the 50's or the wild and untamed Jim Seay . Hows that for a fantasy car to clean your plow

Racers Reunion

Stock Car Racing History

Have you thought about what you were doing two years ago before you found this site? How about last year even, was you wandering around on your own or were you surfing on U-tube for that junkie rush to get you through the night. Most people say they didnt know such a wonderful place existed until you almost have to rub their nose in it. Most say wow, some say "duh" and some act kinda taken back by what all it offers.I mean its not like a cult or a club that is enforced by its inner core.Think about what is here to offer; there is drag racing on Monday and Wednesday, just like in the hey day-- next you have the tues nite titans telling everyone whats been going on back in the day,and today and for tomorrow. then there is Thurs nite, almost kinda like the Old Diana Shore Show followed by playhouse 90,remember those??.But last but surely not least there is a full hour on thurs of Free Pennington telling the word in a different format of how racing was and now how it is today and most importantly how it will be in the future with the Lord in racing ( but only if you accept him) because without him there is a void.Im not preaching just how I look at our family thats growing daily. You can access the shows from anywhere in the world, really just ask the troops in Afghanistan or the folks in South America or just about anywhere you can get a signal on a cell phone. To me we have it all here and the good part of it is---------------------- I T S F R E E ----yup doesnt cost you a penny extra to get the a la carte deal or if you feel stingy go cheap then move up after your guilt goes away.Only two things I know of here that are taboo are that foul talk or otherwise know as cussing and politics..Looking at cars is totally allowed, babies are adored but not required. But best of all its open 24 hours a day and some if not the best D/J music you can find and Dustin has it all worked out with little or no commercials, unless its when one of the shows are on,then it pays the bills.TV? its here also, there are more videos on here than u tube has concerning racing i think. So shop around and find me another site that offers you more,go ahead and look then come and log back on and say"m backI" because nothing exists.Ok its almost show time so dim the lights so you can see sam good and enjoy the show,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Sky Diving

Current NASCAR

Think about this, Tony Stewart is learning how to skydive or at least tandem jump to hit the spot. Now could this be so as when ,and I do mean when he wins the Indy 500 he can jump aboard a fairly fast plane and scoot on down to Charlotte to also win there. Now you see why he needs to learn jumping from a perfectly good plane? The time span is to close between winning the Indy 500 with all the celebrations and photo sessions to get down to Charlotte airport and then get to the track. So he wins the Indy 500,kisses the girls, drinks the milk and then hops on a fast ride to Charlotte to hopefully land in the track by parachute then win the 600,all that work just for 20 million bucks. Now I know others have way better theories than me so lets hear how you would pull it off,and with whom would you put your preference on hummmmmmmmmmmmmm????

20 million dollar purse to the winner of------------------------------

Current NASCAR

i think thats the reason bruton offered it its almost impossible to do without the celebration added in---you would need one of those f-22 rapter jets to get you there, no no you would need a harrier so you could land on pit road and roll out into the car. that would work i think unless oh me to many variables in this its impossible-- unless the indy race was shortened due to weather then maybe, still to may variables we better stick to our saturday nite dirt tracks, its more fun and havent got to worry about the milk being sour . Johnny, actually I was in-route after spending 4 days in Washington,D.C. and didn't walk through the door and turn on the T.V. until about lap 135 at Dover (Did ya miss me?). Then watching Wind Tunnel I noticed they show a picture of Danica and Tony on their promo. I thought, geeze, I'm not too far off. Danica...no, but Tony could pull it off as long as they could leave Indianapolis without all the post race stuff to get him back to the 600 to race. That wouldn't happen because of all the Indy tradition, but if one guy could do it, I'd bet on Tony!!

Pete, glad to be home.

20 million dollar purse to the winner of------------------------------

Current NASCAR

Bruton Smith has offered a 20 million dollar bonus to whoever can win both the indy 500 and the world 600 in same day. thats kinda tasty I think, Maybe Racers Reunion could conjure up a worthy team to win that prize. Now who would you pick to win that sum from ole Bruton Smith.lets hear some nominations for this, who is the best in your book
