Unless you were just totally out of pocket you missed the best race of the season ,with the exception of Eldora, in Canada today. Chase Elliott won it in true old school style... But there were action on every turn it seems.
I felt that shot that Mad Max took in the pits after the race by no less , a girl, smack on tv too. now what did you see??

No this is not my car, but a copy of my car back in the 60s which I ran at MGR. Larry Smith built this not knowing what he was actually recreating. Funny how things work that way. You can only guess how I felt when I first saw it. I mean the color,stance,number and even the interior were to close for me to be comfortable with . Only thing missing was the side pipes exiting in front of the rear wheel.... !now you want to talk about -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- memories

Not every day a person of Fame walks among you, much less acknowledges the fact that you are there. well after he made his way through all the well wishers and autograph hounds he came to the table where we were setting. He stopped and asked me "now what was that you were telling me on the stage earlier?" I replied that Tim wished he could have made it but circumstances beyond his control didnt allow the trip. He said Tim was a great friend ,then proceeded to give this to me, unasked for--- kinda makes you wonder where these kind of folks have gone to. Anyway I felt plum proud of this--------------------- memories
