Randy, Tim & Pete are correct in fact they were about to take the Chevelle apart looking for the illegal parts when Smokey explained to Norris and John what the lip was all about. They were sure that the lip was to obvious and that he was hiding the true unapproved parts elsewhere and this was to draw the attention away from other areas of the car. It worked very well.

This is not new news think about it. There has been several accounts of stupid things that he has been mixed up in . It was only reported in the Daytona paper only to be sqaushed a day later.There has been a few instances that I know of and that the people involved was also taken care of very nicely and will not comment on the subjet when asked what really happened. So I will be very surprised if he steps down as long as he has enough hush money to keep the police and other law enforcement on staff to watch his back side and to drive him when and where he wishes to go. I for one think that the team of Humpy and Jim France would make the most sense. Jim has always been in the background and advising. He has more common sense in one finger than his brother and his son has in there entire bodies.Not to mention brains. He is not perfect but nether am I so my vote goes to Jim and Humpy.

jEFF i FOR ONE LOVED THE SITE SO MUCH i HAD TO JOIN TWICE. i THINK YOU KICKED ME OFF ONCE AND I JOINED AGAIN. BUT SERIOUSLY ALOT OF PEOPLE DON'T REALIZE HOW MANY 24 HOUR DAYS AND ALL THE HARD WORK AND LOVE OF EACH OF THESE FANS YOU AND BIG D HAVE GIVEN OVER THE LAST TWO YEARS. Seeing the video being made and then seeing it on a TV screen . All I can say is wow! Matt and James and all his crew are true professionals this is the best video that I have ever seen bar none. Thanks for letting me be a part of it and lets all be at Johnny & Junes next saturday for his debut we will be bring the race cars out to greet him.

Who the hell is Steve Blount or Terry Samples I have never heard of them and evidently they have no funds for resourcing. And they like many of what they call writers of today have never been to the weekly races back when these men did not run for the pay because there were not much if at all. They ran for the sport,bragging rights until the next race or for the pure thrill of it.They risk their life and limb for the afore mentioned and sacrificed their families and in some cases lost it all. To have some half assed whack to try to deminish any of the pioneers of the sport then their credentials should be taken away at any track and banish them from the sport of racing. If nascar had any balls about them they would make this happen the way Big Bill would do and tell them if they were going to write the story then by god get it right. And yes I know I got their names wrong just as they got their stories all wrong.

A true gentleman in all the senses. He has always put others before himself and I know that he he is a man of his word. There have been several times in the past when he would tell you he would make an appearence and when he would get there he would be sick as all get out but he would always say I will stay as long as I can and most of the time he would be there longer than the original agreement. He has never canceled on me and I know there were times he should have been on bed rest or at the hospital. I will forever be a fan of Ned Jarret. He truly is a dedicated and Christian and I am proud to call him friend. If only the sport was full of Ned Jarretts.

Johnny for those that are throwing crap in the fire they need to feel sorry for the dummies like me who can not figure this electronic box out but will spend hours looking at the work that others have done I for one like all the pics no matter where they came from and upset that someone is jelous of or has nothing better to do than gripe about somthing that will not matter in 50 years anyway.Peace Out !!!!!

Rhonda and Tommy and all of the other car owners and drivers that brought your cars to the Rock I want to say THANKS some of the fans commented that they wish we had made more laps because they were not prepaired to make pictures so they came to the lot and made some.We hope that some of you will come to Mt.Airy in a couple of weeks and to the Legends Helping Legends in March at Memory Lane in Mooresville.You can also plan to come to Hillsborough in August for some laps on the 1 mile dirt track at the famed Occonechee / Orange Speedway with the Old Timers Club. All are listed on the RR event calender. So please come out and support as many of these functions as you can.I hope to see you in a couple of weeks.
