THE CHASE - RacersReunion style

Administrative

I just wanted to take a minute of your time to call attention to the dedication of one TMC Chase. Chase is a member of RacersReunion who has taken the preservation of racing history seriously. Chase has posted more information, more photos, and more records of racing history than anyone on the site (my guess). He continues to post the Racing History Minutes and adds to those posted previously when that series was started in 2013. Chase is a huge asset to this site and deserves a round of applause from all of us.

TO JEFF GILDER: Jeff, perhaps it would be in order to have a plaque presented to Chase for his contributions to the site and what he continues to do almost every day. What do you think?

Photo Says it all

Stock Car Racing History

Winning "The Chase" is NOT winning a Championship. I have really tried to accept the Chase format, I truly have, but it is a totally asinine attempt to whip fans into a frenzy over some completely contrived stupidity. Not sure I'll watch any of the Chase races. After all, my efforts are to support the history of the sport from when it was really about racing, real champions, real men and real cars. Yes, good old Brian has done, or is doing, what folks who know me said could never be done. He is driving me away from the present day sport. In a way, I guess, it is for the better because I'm sure getting plenty of opportunity to talk history!

Job Well Done Tim, As Always!!

Barbara, Debbie and Billy, thank you for such a pleasant surprise to greet my Thursday morning sign-in. It was really great to see you all again and I sincerely appreciate the invitation to share your table at supper. For the record, the four guys I introduced at the beginning at the ones who did the work, I just have the fun. It is a great pleasure for me to do what I do with that organization and I thrive on every minute.

On behalf of myself and AIRPS, thank you all for making the trip to Augusta. Billy Scott winning races in a large part of my growing up memories and it is always a treat to share some time with you all.

God bless, and I hope we'll have some time to share again soon.

Rex was really awesome at AIRPS. So was James Hylton, Billy Scott, Bruce Brantley and everyone there. It was an incredible evening. Thanks for posting Johnny.

NASCAR, as an American, I am highly offended by your insensitive commercial

Thank you Will. I have at least three people really wanting to visit your place. Problem is getting all the schedules to work together. As soon as I can get some definite dates from them, I'll contact you and see what you have available. I do hope to see you in Hillsboro on the 26th,

Will, I don't do political correctness well either!!! As for what we are to do, don't worry about it because you do everything almost perfectly! You're one at the top of my list of admired folks.

Thank you Perry, for pointing out the spelling error. Although I admit spelling was NOT my best subject in school, I think this error was more of the typo category than spelling error as I do know how to spell insensitive. I have corrected my error and humbly beg your forgiveness in my oversight in not proofing before posting.
