Tim, will really try and make this one......
amen Jay....Then he can move it around to where ever. lol
it appears that site is now at www.nascarhall.com/inductees/fan-vote .
lol, we agree on 4 of them, I'll message you on the one we are not in agree on.
As I see it I'm not helping the other 15 that's didn't get my vote and its hard to select just one out of the 20 nominees. There's about 6 or 8 in my opinion and my opinion only that should get in.
Dr. Janice, There are 20 nominees listed on the vote website at www.nascar.com/inductees-vote and you can vote as many times as you want for 5 selectees each time. Of course everyone of them is deserving in some manner but I'm really hoping my friend Ray Fox is elected as his 98th birthday is coming up May 24th and I wouldn't miss his party for anything.
Harvey, I was listening to the morning show on Sirius before Chocolate Myers and the knowledgeable folks come on and they don't know squat. They are not race fans, just talking heads. I don't listen anymore before 10 or 11 AM .
I send my sincere condolences to his family and many friends. I only got to meet him once but he was a friendly person. May he rest in peace.
Johnny, About 10-12 years ago I ran at the Pasco Co. Fairgrounds in Zephyrhills, Fl. and after my feature I vol. to flag in turn 3. I was looking back towards the pits and Clint Hamilton of Gainesville had won his feature in the 3X3 65 Chevelle. He was taking the Polish Victory lap and decided to scare me by coming close to the rail and then gunning it. He floored it and a stone the size of a marble hit me in the center of the chest really really hard. It was bruised for a week or longer. I'm still looking to get a payback if he ever comes around again. lol....
Dave, I agree on the to many classes. A couple years ago I was running in South Florida in the summer no less and there was 6 divisions. I was in the car buckled up and the class ahead of us had 7 cars that was still running. They had 8 cautions in 12 laps and I started the car and was ready to head for the pits before I passed out. Soon as I got the motor started the announcer said next flag ends it so I stayed. It was 2:30 before I got home and I slept all the next day.
