We Might Just Be Making Progress
The old swing shift sucks, but leaving work last night I handed a fellow hourly employee and extra copy of "Racers and Chasers" that had been put in my locker.This guy is die hard modern day NASCAR and in fact was wearing a Bristol T-Shirt from this years event.His words to me: "Henry, I am burnt out on this modern crap and beginning to do some digging into the old NASCAR. I heard about RacersReunion. Thanks for the CD."My reply: "Mike, join us as we are all just "Racing Through History".He had somewhat of a puzzeled look on his face as he walked away.
You are the man Henry. When you run out of CDs let me know.We are making progress.The CD has helped us in a lot of ways.You and Tim both know who should have them more than I do.We appreaciate you guys for getting the word out about Racersreunion, and the CD.
Jay, I am sitting here looking out the window at rain as I catch up on e-mails!"It Might Just Only Rain".What a dynamite piece of poetry! And, in IMHO, it ranks right up there with anything put forth by Boy Dylan.It is going to be "y official theme song to me"from here on out. It really puts things where they need to be in this adventure we call life.
