Langley Speedway's oldest race car driver Jimmy Young passed away this morning Dec.15, 2009 at the age of 90. Jimmy started racing the old flat head Fords on local dirt tracks in Virginia and North Carolina back in the late 1940's to the mid 1950's. He was a first class mechanic and made his living repairing automobiles until retirement.
