Unfortunately, it is Richard Petty Motorsports in name only. Take a look at the George Gillette financial situation here lately. Things are not looking good. Kyle has been spot on with his perspective on the former Petty Enterprises. It doesn't exist, except for a figure head. The NASCAR we all knew hasn't existed since the mid 90's. Brian France, Mike Helton , et al, have totally destroyed it.Don't blame the other car companies. The big 3 did it to themselves. Forget the Fords and Chevys made in Canada, Toyota's made in Tennessee stuff. That is all true. From a racing, look at the politics they have played.

I agree totally Slick, but the fact that Richard was in the victory circle again after 11 years, is totally awesome no matter how it is achieved. I agree that Kyle is right in his assessment of face of Petty Enterprises. I live right near the Petty's and pass by the old Petty Enterprises several times daily, you can see the downward spiral is evident from the way the property is looking. I am appalled when I look at Lee's home as the weeds are growing up in the front yard.Pastor Ken
I agree Pastor Ken! It's indeed nice to see that BIG smile as well as signature hat in Victory Lane. Way to go RPM...
