I had the honor to work SHIRLEY......and I will cherish those days forever. It was some of the most memorable days of my life. I was on the return road in Canada when she had her crash. I was working for the Mongoose at the time. He said "that's it...were are done for the day". I could see the concern for her well being in his eyes! After her recovery and her decision to return to Top Fuel, she called me and invited to dinner. She asked me if I was interested in joining the team for the upcoming season. The rest is history...If I could describe her.....Diligence,Perseverance, and one "BAD ASS" is what I'd say.....Love ya SHIRLEY!! The JEL
