Matt Hirschman 3 Peats At 8th Annual J.B.III Memorial North-South Shootout

Matt Hirschman,Northampton,Pa.made history this past weekend at Concord Motorsport Park

winning the 8th Annual John Blewett III Memorial North-South Shootout for the 3rd time.

Hirschman bid his time,running with the leaders before taking control late in the event.Hirschman

held off Chuck Hossfeld,Ransomeville,NY and George Brunnhoelzl III,Mooresville to win the prestigious event 125 laps for the Tour Type Modified machines!

The SK Modified feature event winner was this year's weekly National Champion,Keith Rocco from Wallingford,CT..Rocco charged thur the field to grab the lead late in the event then held off Ryan Preece

and Ronnie Silk,Milford,CT.to cap off a great year in the modifieds.

The USA Modifieds came to Concord this year and Brian Nester led Mike Stacy and Brad

Springer to the checkered flag!

The action was hot and heavy all day long in all divisions and the CRA Super Late Model event

found Colt James,Newton in victory lane after 125 laps.Jones held off the hard charging Ross

Kenseth,Spring Valley,MI. and Michael Pilla,Midland,NC. over the final laps to win the wild event.

Vintage Modified and Vintage Sportsman feature winners were Johnny Sutton and Tommy Buxton.

Johnny Sutton driving for John Betts held off NC driver Daryl Gwynn to win the Vintage Mod

feature.The Vintage Sportsman winner,Tommy Buxton held off Johnny Gregory and Todd Bradburry to enjoy the victor's spoils.Charles Kepley and staff wanted to thank all the fans,
