Tradition Returns

I'm old school most of the time, so when I see how things have changed in NASCAR over the years,I wonder why they would change certain things when they were fine the way they are. I guess NASCAR hasn't been very fan friendly in the new millenium... One of the things that annoyed me for years was getting rid of the Labor Day Darlington race. The Southern 500 was a tradition that vanished after 2003 when they decided to give California that date. That was a slap in the face to traditionalists like me. Well this year, NASCAR finally got it right. Even though Darlington only hosts one race a year (which is still a mistake), at least they returned it to this time of year again. Looking forward to that this weekend.
