This picture is from inside cover of Southern racing circuit I am thinking he is from the Florence SC area? Maybe Jack Walker or Dargon have a better idea.

He was and still is from Randleman N.C. He drove the #5 and his teammate was Donald Tucker who drove the #6. Both cars were black and gold and were owned by Leroy Rumley.
