He also drove it in the '61 Daytona 500 because his '61 was one of the ones wadded up in the qualifying races. Pretty rough set of heats, Richard Petty went over the wall in the first one and Lee went over in the second one and took Johnny Beauchamp with him, or vice versa. And that's not counting all the ones that were destroyed that stayed inside the track.
