The car, driver, and crew in the foreground is the N.D. Copley team out of Hodgenville, Ky.

John,The photo showing N.D. Copely is one of the photos I sent to his son - he had requested anyone who had pictures to please forward them on. The negative was so sharp that when I re-cropped it and centered the shot on the Copley team, it turned out to be a really nice shot of driver and crew. I should probably post it here, too....

Mickey, Not sure Potts was the flagman that day - perhaps he will let us know. If you go to my page and look at all of the 600 photos I have posted through the years, I'll bet you will find at least one or two moreshotsof the # 22 car. I took a bunch of ARCA shots through the years and there are some that are posted that I still need driver information for. If you can help with any of the unknowns I sure would appreciate it. There's a lot of ARCA guys here - Keith Ploughe was the last one who contacted me through this site, before your note today. Brian Norton is also on Racer's Reunion and he's the ARCA Historian. You might want to touch base with him too.And you are right - it WAS a lot more fun back then.Steve
