Wanted to let all the members of RacersReunion.com that Historic Speedway Group's (Occoneechee/Orange Speedway) newly refurbished website is now online. Their will be many features on the website and more will be added in the coming months. To those not familar with HSG, we are the group that holds the car show and racers reunion at Occoneechee/Orange Speedway in Hillsborough, NC. Which this years will be held on August 29, 2009 from 8am-5pm. We also help preserve the track and alot of its former structures have been resurrected to its former self. If you love racing history this will be the place to come for the show and racers reunion and to tour the .9 mile historic dirt oval and all its history. Occoneechee/Orange Speedway is the only dirt track in existence from the 1948 season schedule. It is one of 3 racing venues on the National Historic Register.
