Jeffery Coward, a member of Team SC Midlands Chapter, had a triple by-pass this morning. He drove himself to the hospital on Tuesday and was told that the had suffered two heart attacks. He called me yesterday and asked if I would check on his truck, which was left in the parking lot of Lexington Medical Center, and he did not want it to get towed as he probably would not be able to pick it up for a few days. It is a straight drive, and his daughter can not drive a stick shift. I assured him that his truck would be cared for. That seemed to be his only concern. He was transferred to Providence Hospital, in Columbia, and had surgery this morning. I just spoke to his daughter and he is currently in recovery and came through the operation without any problems, but there was some damage that could not be repaired.
