Fireball Roberts battles with Tim Flock
The 1st annual Daytona 500 was a races for the books no doubt. Starting deep in the field, Tim Flock hitched a ride with Fireball Roberts and both rapidly roared to the front. The fuel pump ended Roberts run, while a broken sway bar limited Flock to 9th several laps down.
