Nelson Stacy work's his way thru traffic at Lancaster Speedway with his #29 Ford. What makes this picture very unique is the Danny Byrd #87... its a 1962 Ford "Starlifter"

The #29 Ford is Earl Balmer from Floyds Knobs, Ind. Owner of the car was Pete Viviano, president of Delmonico Foods. #2 is Dick Freeman, also unique because it's a Mercury.

I don't think so Jack. But I'm not sure because ARCA didn't open up until 1964 according to my 50th anniversary book of ARCA. Because John Potts replied he is an expert on ARCA. Could it be the old MARC series?

Looks to be a 1963 MARC race. That year Dick Freeman finished 3rd in the MARC points, and Earl Balmer finished 5th. They also held a race at Lancaster on June 16th, 1963..........Jack

Jack, do you have the top 20 points positions for MARC 1963? I get the impression you do. If not, let me know. Danny Byrd finished 20th with 570 points.
