After car problems with his own car Billy was loaned this car sponsored by Rimer Motors in order to keep up his points battle in the 70s'. Would like to have the owner's name if anyone knows.
Clyde Drye still owns and operates Rimer Motors. He also owned some dirt cars that ran at Concord and Metrolina during this time. I do not know if this was one of his or not but he can probably tell you who owned it. Rimer Motors number is 704-786-2683.
Clyde Drye is my father-in-law. He remembers the car, the color, the grill. He thinks the number was changed to save points. He does not remember the details. Rimer Motors is still open and still building race cars and racing at Concord. My husband, Rusty and our son Matt (Clyde Jr. and Clyde III) race currently in pure stock.
