The "lake" of Lakewood and the former 1st turn, as viewed from Lakewood Avenue. The lake once occupied the majority of the infield, but has since been mostly filled. The track's grandstans, not visible in this shot, still exist and were at the end of the frontstretch near the beginning of turn 1. An amphitheater and its parking area now occupys turns 3 and 4.
