Hollywood Speedway
Way back in the day, possibly late 1940's, there was a race track in the Chimney Rock area of N.C. The speedway was located off of Hiway 74 on Hollywood road. The locals called it "Hollywood Speedway" but that may not have been its official name. This 1995 aerial reveal an image that would perfectly contain a classic 1/2 mile race track. Don't know if this is the site or not. Need confirmation from the mountain racers.
