My very first mission as a "ghost track" hunter was to the remains of a local dirt track "Twin City Raceway" near Loris, SC. The track's final season was in 1968, and by 2003, mother nature had launched a major assault. The only remaing hardware was this row of posts that once formed the frontstretch wall, separating the race track from the innovative "heated" grandstands. These feeble remains were bulldozed during the last days of the great real estate bubble.
