Topography maps often indicate physical land marks such as race tracks. Fortunately, and somewhat surprisingly, a 1968 topo map of the area, reveald an irregular shaped race track whose shape and postioning had little to do with the curvature of bi-secting "Industrial Drive". Could this be the configuration of Sportsman Speedway?
If this diagram of the track was just a tic lower and to the left, I think it would be close to the actual position of the old track. But....it's been many , many, years since I was there...50 to be exact.
