Valdosta 75 Speedway
Located south of town on Race Track Road, off of I-75, the 1/2 mile dirt Valdosta-75 Speedway. The track actually existed from the 1920's through the 1960's and hosted NASCAR's Grand National series in 1962, '64, and '65. Winners were Ned Jarrett, Buck Baker, and Cale Yarborough respectively. The speedway ceased operation in 1968.
