On Thursday Dec 3rd Jim Seay will receive the Distinguished Service Award from the South Carolina Football Coaches Association. Jim has for over 40 years served the association in various broadcasting and public address positions in over 800 football games.In addition to high school football Jim has been associated with high school and college basketball and baseball as well as several racing related broadcast positions on radio networks from Darlington, Charlotte, and Rockingham. He has also shared announcing duties at local race tracks such as Columbia, Myrtle Beach, and Greeneville-Pickens Speedways. Jim was actually one of the turn announcers when Curtis turner made his come back.Recently Jim has served RacersReunion Radio by producing many interviews with racing legends and currently provides the "Racing Through History" featured segments for "Racin The Way It Was", our weekly live radio show on RacersReunion Radio.Congratulations Jim on your accomplishments!
