I HAVE THE ANSWER. IT'S SIMPLE AND INEXPENSIVE

Several of the Cup races this year, including the past two which constitute the first two of the infamous Cup, have been won on fuel mileage and many points LOST due to lack of fuel mileage. The answer is so very simple I am amazed that it continues to elude the best engineers in the sport.

It's not bigger fuel cells although I think the 18 gallon cell is a less than intelligent move by NASCAR but it's their call to be made and they have made it. The answer to situations like running out of fuel with one, two or three laps to go is as simple as N E X U S Fuel additive. That's right, one of Racers Reunions very own supporters.

When I first personally tested NEXUS back in January, I wrote of the results which were, to me at the time, very good. The more I used the product, the more impressed I was and continue to be. I am, however, currently out of the product so I need to move quickly to get more. The mileage in my Honda Odyssey improved by 4 to 5 miles per gallon on the road on an average trip and about 3 miles per gallon in town. Think of what it could do for the boys running for the cup. Clint Bowyer would have been able to win today in New Hampshire. Chicagoland would have had a different outcome. I have no problem with Smoke leading the standings in the Chase, but I think something as simple as a can of NEXUS in each can of the SUNOCO RACING FUEL, always so carefully pronounced by the tv folks, would make a big difference in race finishes. I guarantee it!!!! Surely NASCAR can't object to the addition of an American Manufactured fuel additive product when it is so busy promoting the efforts being made to "go green" as they say.

In short, NEXUS for race cars is a "no brainer" as they say. If there is any current pop term with which NASCAR brass should have more than a passing acquaintance, it is "no brainer". So, have at it boys! Pop that NEXUS in your tank. See what happens.

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.

We all know that a fuel additive is a NASCAR no no ......The answer is to put the tanks back to 21. whatever they used to be. The fuel tank reduction is another expample of NASCAR's manipulation of the sport. If I am not mistaken they even tired an even smaller tank at Talladega a few years ago.

No offence Tim ......

Of course my technical ignorance is on display here but far too many races have been decided by fuel mileage and far too many cars have been torn up because of the restrictor plate.

And so it goes

if they used it ..it would ruin there plans on injection for next year...yea to be greener..better fuel milage ...

something inherient in racing isnt fuel mileage..maybe emissions inspections for 2013...

or let em run alky..burns 2 to 1 compared to gas..oops..that wouldnt work..higher horsepower w alky...

I agree, Tim. I'm not even sure why NASCAR knocked down the fuel capacity down to 18 from 22 gallons a few years ago in the first place. Another thing that might help is if Goodyear didn't bring tires that outlasted the fuel. They are probably playing it safe and bringing rock hard tires that won't blow out easily and I somewhat blame the testing ban for that too. If Goodyear are going to come up with a soft tire that falls off properly without blowing out, they need to be able to test more often on the tracks they actually race at, but teams are forced to do most of their testing on other brand tires at non-NASCAR tracks.

Come Homestead, It probably would not go down too well if the championship came down to who managed to get more fuel in their car during the final pit stop of the season.

Thanks for the info Tim. I've never used the nexus products so I looked it up. Looks like a great product. I still have questions and the internet is full of pros and cons, so I don't know what to believe. I'd like to try it but I don't like to order off the net for fear of getting scammed. Do you know of any chains that carry the Nexus products?

B.T. The Nexus site right here on the RR home page is where you can order it. It has worked great for me or I wouldn't be giving testimonials for it. I have to order somemyself but I preferto just run to Myrtle Beach and pick it up. I have recommended it to several friends and every one has gotten better mileage although on of them claims only about ONE extra mile per gallon.Let me know if I can help.

B.T.

We were exposed to this new product here on RR through a marketing agreement with Nexus. They are located here in Myrtle Beach. The product is about to be manufactured in a state-of-the-art facility in Charleston, SC. I have been involved with the company in several capacities. The founders are friends of mine.

We are also in negotiations with distributing entities to get the product out to the chains and into the moms and pop stores as well. We needed the increased manufacturing capacity to take the next step. We've actually been going very slowly with the marketing efforts thus far. We knew/know we could overload our donkey very easily.

Over the past year, we've been field testing the product here in the US and in Brazil. Our diesel fuel catalyst is extremely popular with the truckers who are ALL claiming 20 to 25 % increases in fuel economy.

The high performance fuel catalyst is consistently producing 15 to 22 more hp and 15 to 17 more pound feet of torque. The passenger car catalyst is getting great results, too. Most folks are seeing between 15 and 25% increases in fuel economy.

Hope that helps. You can research and purchase it online at http://nexusfuelproducts.com .
