I found it was better to share what my friends and myself have stuffed away in the closet that to let them lay in waste. I try to share what I either have or can get for your enjoyment. I get several replies about what I post which makes me feel good about what I'm doing.

I wish that I had taken pictures of the races I saw as a boy. So,I thank you and the others that did. These pictures have reaffirmed and corrected what I remembered. It's been wonderful to go down memory lane.

Harvey-- with all these photos of Savannah and surrounding tracks from the 60's, you keep bringing memories that have somehow been lost in the fog of memory. You keep up the work sir because I for one are digging your efforts

Harvey,I am thankful that you share your treasures. The names and numbers are different than the ones I watched growing up but they stir similar memories from the 60's. I wish that I would have saved all the racing stuff from the past. Keep them coming, please.

I too share the sentiments of the posts above, and thank you for posting your treasures, Harvey. We all have our hometown tracks that we like to focus our memories on, but it's so great to read about other tracks and memories that we may have otherwise known nothing about. And it all ties together at some point in the big picture of racing history. As a side note, I have had wonderful luck digging up the history of my local tracks at my public library. The micro-film of the old newspapers has become a treasure chest of Ads, photos, and articles of the old tracks still here, or long gone.Keep the treasures coming!

Harvey with the wealth of knowledge you have at your fingertips on racing you can supply the world with racing history.I only wish I had a tenth of the information you have on racing in Ga because you amaze me with some of them from my era. Keep up the good work and I will try to dig and post my piddling few to add to the history of Ga Vintage Racing and to enhance peoples -----------------------------------------memories
