Junior Johnson takes the checkered flag from flagman Rusty Russ of Virginia Beach in the 1965 Richmond 250 on the half-mille dirt Richmond Fairgrounds driving a '65 factory Ford. 2nd place finisher Buck Baker finished on the same lap in a year old non-factory '64 Dodge during the Chrysler boycott.
