A replica of the "Flying 11" Tant/Mitchell NASCAR Modified driven to hundreds of wins in the 60s by Ray Hendrick of Richmond is driven by his son, Roy as some 50-70 vintage race cars took to the Lattimore Valley Fairgrounds track in York Springs, PA on Saturday, August 22, 2015 during the annual Eastern Museum of Motor Racing convention. Ray's son also built the car which was originally constructed for Ray's induction into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame at Talladega. The weekend convention honored Grand Marshal, Gary Wolford of the defunct Silver Springs Speedway and also included track time at the historic Williams Grove Speedway. This photo was taken by my old friend, Frank Buhrman, who often announces activities at Lattimore Valley, located just behind the EMMR / Eastern Museum of Motor Racing.
