Bud Lunsford in a "skeeter"
Somebody mentioned skeeters, and they were some of my favorite cars. To me a skeeter is a narrowed and cutdown early 30's coupe or sedan with a wing. If it's only sheet metal and a roll cage, I call it a super, but anything with a wing down south was sometimes referred to as a skeeter.
