Whats this no pole qualify in back of feild and still could drive in Bud Shootout?

That's my way of thinking. If you show up at your local track and cant get your speed up too bad.Thats the way NASCAR was but Regretfully not now.

Under the new rules (the way I understand it) a pole winnercould sit out of the shootout and a drtver that has only run 3-4 races and no poles could run in that Race. Since 6 cars from each make of car along with car owner points determine the lineup. Istance Joe Nemecheck is out (even though he has won a pole) and Joey Lagano may be in.Ryan newman may be out along with paul menard(both of them having won a pole. This is not a shootout when you take away the fastest drivers and let an inexperianced driver in( no offense to Joey) He will probably be a very good driver,but not at this point. If I am wrong on the rules someone please tell me.

This still goes on at the local tracks. Infact the year that I won my first championship, there were about 4or 5 drivers that raced in my class for the last 2 months just to make sure that things stayed even so I could not be taken out by certain drivers. That same year I showed up at the track found that my radiator had something taken to it or hit by something on the road. thanks to about 7-8 people we found a radiator and got it put in intme for my heat race so that I missed 0 laps. So yes racers still help each other out continually.Yes I could go on for hours about this.

This probably will be good. theres is only ONE powder puff race that I've seen the drivers of the regular classes enjoy, infact talked about it for weeks. That race was a powderpuff Figure 8. This was drivers with no experiance.

David Reutimann He runs as hard as he can, without taking out anyone. I've known David and his family for seveal years, running at the same track at times, and I've never known him to try to take some one out just to win. Infact no one in his family drives that way. I believe if your good enough to win you can win fairly, any one can win if the compition has been knocked out. He is definitly a true racer.

If you check I think youwill find that the Toyota is now closer than the "Big3" at being an american car.
