Whats next for Kurt Busch?

General

Good question. A talented driver but he carries too much bagage for most competitive teams. Saw today the James Finch is interested in Busch for the #51 out of the old Buckshot Jones shop. This is basicly a Hendrick car and it is the best offer I think Kurt will get for a few years. Does he deserve it, NO. I think I would like to see the entire 2012 season without Kurt or Kyle driving for anyone.

Dear Santa, is it too late to add this to my wish list?

Coming Up on Our Four Year Anniversary

Stock Car Racing History

What has been accomplished here in 4 years is truly amazing. We all enjoy and love the many stoies, fourm topics, videos and pictures, but by far what I love and appreciate about this site is the opportunity I have had to get to know some very awesome people. This is the site I come to first everyday and the last I checkbefore I head home. Many thanks to Paul and Jeff for having the vision, and many thanks to all that have contributed to making this the best website on the net. The visionwas worthy and effort is nothing short of amazing. Hats off to all.

Kudos for Penske! Kurt Busch out at Penske Racing

Administrative

Jeff, I have been thinking about this situation and once again I go back to yesteryear and compair it to todays events. Back in the 50's, 60's and 70's NASCAR had it's share of rough and tough men and I sure their vocabularies were very broad. I have no doubt that amoung themselves the language would have been unfit for women and children or for TV and newspaper. The media coverage today is much more than back then but the bigger difference is the drivers themselves.I can not picture Pops Turner, Fireball or Watherly standing with a reporter and unleashing a verbal assault like I heard from Kurt Busch on YouTube. I'm sure he was upset that he was out of the race but I think the issue is deeper than that. I think this is more a character and morals issue. Kurt has no respect for anyone and seems to think there is no limits he must adhere to. He has earned his unemployment and deserves to suffer for his actions. The sad thing is that he isn't the only one, it seems to be a family trait. There is bad behavior, and there is behavior that can't be allowed. And if the team owners and fans can't have a favorable affect on some drivers, then I hate to say it, but maybe NASCAR needs to grow a backbone and start to pull licenses of repeat offenders. This kind of behavior can not be tolerated anymore and should have been stopped before it had gotten to this point. Thanks Roger, but what took so long?

I have to wonder why did it take so long to reach this conclusion? He is a competitive driver, but he can destroy a team if he is allowed to berate and abuse them like this. As a parent I look at it like this, OK, you know better but I'm willing to give you a slap on the bottom and a warning and say it better not happen again. Next time, go get me a switch! One of those long green ones that tend to wrap when it makes contact.

New driver considered to replace Kurt Busch in car #22

Current NASCAR

I'd like to see David Reutimann or Ragan get the ride. Vickers is a Hot Head, but to spice things up and get some action on the track there is only one choice, Jacques Villenuve! lol

Most Popular Driver... Ho hum

General

Wally, I'm no fan of Dale Jr but I do understand the fan vote is important, but it sticks in my craw that he is that popular and he can't win, and most times he's not even competitive. Growing up the most popular was a competitive driver and a winning driver. I wish it would go back to when the competitors would have a vote. Maybe 75% competitors, 25% fan vote. Face it, if you aren't a Jr fan then your driver doesn't have a shot at the award. Look at Jr's reaction, his words say it means alot but he honestly acts as if he doesn't care, and even said that weeks ago.

Dale Earnhardt Jr was once again named Most Popular Driver for 2011. I don't care, do you?
