Glad you had a great time at the Z-Max drag races. I don't like the 4-bys, but you can't please everybody.

Thank you JA Jon for this information. Nothing like buying in person.
Mike go on Facebook and contact Bob Wenzelburger. He is a photographer up in that area. If he cannot help you, he might be able to know a contact for you. Hope this helps.
Let us know back here if you find the answer to your question.
Smoker had the best circuit, the "East Coast Fuel Funny Car Circuit" in drag racing. Good close runs and no breakage.
Great racer and great friend of mine. R.I.P. ole buddy.
By the way, Atco Dragway was sanctioned by NHRA in 1961. National Dragster would be your best bet for Atco's 1961 coverage for racing results from there.
Dean, the only one on the East Coast at that time was Drag News. Eastern Drag News started in 1962. Drag Times started in 1965. All of the drag racing newspapers from Vol. 1 to the end that I had was given to Mike Goyda. Contact Mike Goyda at Goyda.com
However, I think there was a booklet type coverage of Atco Raceway results back at that time.
I hope you find what you are looking for there.
Sorry George for not answering you sooner. Had compute problems.
Contact Mike Goyda at Goyda.com. He has copies of Drag Times from Vol.1 to 1977.
My prayers are with your family.RIP Butch, you were a class act.
I voted every day for "RACIN' 'N ROCKIN"!
