Is someones camera broke or batteries not up to par?????
Stock Car Racing History
PROBABLY HAVE BEEN ON VACATION! LOL
Well thought out responses to a tough question. I think he should be made an example of and I feel a 1 race suspension and a fine with lots of ZERO's and points would work. The public shame of speaking to the media over and over on his punishment would help to get his focus back. Me personally, I think what we saw was a good example of "Roid-Rage". There has been a good bit of talk of how Mr. Edwards acts away from the camera and rumors of use of steroids. I don't know that for sure so I guess I should leave it at that, I've heard rumors.
Heard this morning from a co-worker who was listening to the Dale Jr radio and they told Jr "The 99 just sent the 12 into the air" and Jr replied, "I knew something was up. The 99 slammed on the brakes and nearly stopped. I thought he was waitting on someone."
Enough is enough. What ever NASCAR does, I hope it hurts!
I think that Edwards should be suspended, and fined. This new "Have at it" philosophy that NASCAR has adapted is great, I mean heck rubbins racin right?!? BUT, there is a difference between a "Love tap", and an overly aggressive "wack". I also think that common sense should come into play on this, I mean hold off on the retaliation for a slower track!
We were wondering where the boundaries were with this new mandate. I think we'll see NASCAR make it clear that Edwards was well outside the boundaries. Anything they allow to happen will escalate....always has. They had better nip this one in the bud and give some clear definition as to how much is allowed.
I USED TO FEEL FAIRLY SAFE IN THE GRANDSTANDS AND EVEN INFIELD AT THE RACETRACKS. NOW I'M BEGINNING TO WONDER AFTER YESTERDAY'S RACE.
FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND NASCAR HASA NEW "HAVE AT IT" PHILOSOPHY WHICH IS SUPPOSED TO LET DRIVERS SHOW MORE AGRESSION AND EMOTION.
THE EDWARDS/KESOLOWSKI CRASH WAS VERY FRIGHTENING TO SAY THE LEAST.
JUST HOW SAFE IS THIS NEW "MANDATE"? SHOULD EDWARDS BE SUSPENDED/FINED?
