Maybe NASCAR should have a rule to if you wreck somebody you should have to pay the wrecked car's team for either fixing it or replacing it. Also, the guilty party would have to pay this out of his own pocket. If these highpriced drivers had to like the local drivers do, they might use a little more sense when racing.

Where were the fans

That's one reason I like going to the local races. Before the evenings first event they bring at least one division out one the front stretch and have an autogragh session with the fans. That makes the connection between the drivers and the fans.I know they can't do something like that in the Cup series, but they had better come up with something.

I agree Darren. Kurt has matured into a very good spokesman for NASCAR. Kyle hopefully will become one in the future.

I've only been a member of RR for a little while,but I wished I had found it earlier. For so many years I thought I was the only person who missed the old days of racing.The great drivers,the fantastic race cars,the sights and smells of the long lost speedways and lets not forget some very funny and entertaining annoucers.For at least the past 20 years I thought I was the only one who missed those days.To finally find a place where others feel as me,it feels like I'm in a pilgram reaching the promised land!

NASCAR will never go for it. It would mean sharing power and/or money .That's something they don't like to do.

I wish that I had taken pictures of the races I saw as a boy.So,I thank you and the others that did. These pictures have reaffirmed and corrected what I remembered. It's been wonderful to go down memory lane.
