Maybe their needs to be two catagories,one greatness before the year 2000 and one for greatness after the year 2000. For me, no matter how many championships Jimmy Johnson/ Hendricks Motorsports wins, I cannot in my mind compare them head to head with the Pettys,Pearsons,Earnhardts,and Raymond Parks of the early years.

NASCAR is a team sport. As with any other team sport, if one team member is having an off day you bring in a sub for that one position. This would be like switching your whole offensive line for one players problem.Or like switching your whole infield for one players problem.I guess if Jimmy is having a bad day Chad will switch him out too.Looks to me that Chad did more harm than good on this move.

Did you also notice that the #11's pit was right in front of the #48's. Guess they wanted to see if they could rattle the 48 team.I would say if that is true ,mission accomplished.

My wife(Janice) and I attended the HoF awards and had a fantastic time. Everyone did a wonderful job!!!! To be able to meet some of my heroes was a honor I will not forget anytime soon.It was nice to see Mike Joy and Phil Parsons there,just being a fan, like the rest of us.Thank you'll again for the great time.
Racing will return once again to Kingsport Speedway

It's great that Robert could open that track up to weekly events.Asheville,Buncombe County,and Western NC loss is Kingsport and the Tri-cities gain. My wife and are already planning to drive up there to attend some of their events.
Crowd at Indy

The attendance was sooooo low that saying anything would be like rubbing salt in a wound. Maybe, they sould move the race to a later date in the season. Then,if that doesn't help, they won't be able to use the hot weather as an excuse.
