Since no car photo showed up on Jerry's post, here's Lennie Pond with a Jim Testa ride. Our RR member, William Horrell may have done the body work:

Ya got me! Had ole Red Foote saved for today. Watched this Eastern Bandit many a Friday night at Southside. He liked Richmond so much he moved there.
Unfortunately, young rookie Tim Williamson , who clinched the Winston West Rookie title in this Phoenix event (and just missed the championship by 5 points) would lose his life in the opening NASCAR event at Riverside on January 12, 1980. Williamson had been signed to drive for Jim Stacy in 1980 and ironically had won the same Riverside event that claimed his life just the previous season.
Williamson also won the June 1979 Riverside race that marked the road course debut of KYLE PETTY .
